Many thanks every one for your immediate response, in fact we are looking for children school in cant area. Therefore we prefer living nearby, so kindly advise a housing society nearby and kindly advise any good English medium schools also, Jazzak Allah khair...

Askari X is best then . There is beconhouse till 5 class inside the compound. Very close to airport and Mall Road. Good shopping areas like fortress and Mall of Lahore are 10 minutes drive away. There is Army Gymnasium very close to Askari X and civilians can also join Gym and Swimming.

Only negative of Askari X is house are not well designed and construction is also bad. Same look of house also make it a little dull. You will have to find house that is well maintained by the owner which is a bit difficult if not impossible.

For investors the best plot is different and for those who wanna build house it is different. For house i will like to have a house where i can have peace of mind. I am ok with 40 ft street at long as it has good access. I will not like 150 ft as my children cannot drive their bycycle in front of house. No disturbance is a plus plus. Investors donot think like that as they have to market their product. That is why you see discrepancy here.

But Block B, one thing I do not understand is that an investor in the end will sell to someone who will build a house. So investor needs to value his investment with that end buyer in mind. So how come investor values a house on 150 ft street high, when we all know it is not as desirable a place to build a house for all those good reasons you pointed out.

K is very good near to main road and future just in few minutes access to ferozpur road and ring road just wait and watch it by your self ....

All people are busy in good,best,worst location as you are in dha phase 9 after some time best phase ever . People says 120 ft road and commercial near is best, although its good for money but not for living full of crowd and cars running on these roada, on the other hand plots on 60 ft road inside less difference of price but good for living examples are old phases of dha ...... Say thanks to Allah for sweet nice and peace living in dha anywhere any block any plot ... My self having plot in dha on much thanks to Allah ...p

I have been follwoing LRE website since the balloting has been done in DHA 9. My brother and I invested in DHA 9 , 2 5 Marla and 2 10 Marla files.

The result is as follows:

928 J - facing park
844 J - corner
3177 J -corner

I wonder why all of our plots are in J block, I am assuming that when you get a file it is mentioned that this file is acquired against the following land e.g: on my file it was written that you have 5 marla or 10 marla and the following land lie under the dev kalaan location and the previous owner was this and that etc and bla bla bla. That's why they ballot it likewise. I maybe wrong.

What is the current market price going on in M block?
Is that any chance to acquire Anmol Housing society by DHA?

Dear M. Imran,

I am an investor like you. Mine is M594.
M block overall approach wise is very well located. Its clos to ring road...so the prices would go up In Shaa Allah...

In your particular case, your plot is not at a good location being on boundary and close to graveyard...boundary still is not an issue because there is a housing society on the other side of boundary which is not considered a negative thing however graveyard would be a negative sign...

These are very early days to say either DHA would acquire Anmol but likely hood is there because as per my knowledge there is not a single house in Anmol but still this acquisition will take few years to happen...if you can wait for 3/4 years then its better to do so...I can almost gurantee you that after this time even this bad location plot of yours will give you reasonably good returns..

Remember I am just an investor like you and not a property guru so my opinion could be challenged...

My plot is corner plot and it is not facing or backing grave yard.Even it is not near to the grave yard. Is that still affect my plot.
