U r right,but if one is interested in this area,u cant buy a 1K on ground plot ready for construction in 40-50 lacs otherthan in SL.All soceities surrounding SL have gone up by 2 -3 millions n previous 2 years,The only reasonable option now is SL.That is the only reason,it is catching up now.

Yes. It is good place. If you had bought a few months earlier you could get a plot there for 5 million but now that is not possible as prices have risen.

How the experts rate DHAI 2 / EX - commoners town for residential purpose after 2 Years? What is the price of a 10 Marla good plot. Information required.

That block will have handful of houses. 10 Marla should be around 20 lacs depending upon location. When you enter, right hand side has fully developed 10 marla plots. If yo can find a plot there, I will say good. Visit that area before you decide to buy, don't go blind.

I have heard some 35/85 plots are available facing commercial on main near the mosque and price has been fixed at 55 lacs. I want to purchase one. Would it not be better to purchase near to soan river where they are stll under 50, please advise

If you really like IV, go ahead and buy at 55 lacs. I think it's overpriced, buy 1 kanal in sector F of DHAI-1' Bharia phase-8 Sector-D, Secror-1 or 5 of Bahria Overseas Enclave or even 1 kanal in phase-7.

Please consider investing in a 5M fully developed commercial plot in Spring North area of Bahria Town Rawalpindi(next to DHA Commercial Bay and Bahria Intellectial Village).

Plot can be found for c65 lacs. Prices are rising steadily and in the last 9 months (when the project was launched) have gone up by c10 lacs.

for investemtn only go for CDA sectors in zone 1 and zone 2 (not all only some sectors),, rest bahria dha etc etc are no way near main Islamabad ,they are in zone 5 most far flung area and thay cant give a good return after 2-3 years

Thanks for very good response to my request.
I have my mind very clear to invest only in CDA sectors, I also agree that G-14/3 & 2 should be given priority for better and confirmed good return on investment as the development is started already as per my info taken from Housing Foundation today.

Otherwise I visited the E-12 area, its excellent location and nothing can be better than that. D-12 is already gone very high. E-12 will be inbetween F-11 & D-12, so we can imagin prices will shoot up within no time in E-12, but, and subject to announcement of development. I also agree that it is expected to have some news about E-12 soon.

Your selection is very good, G-14/3 is number one priority and 2nd should be G-14/2, I am sure if you can wait for 1 or 2 year, you will have very good return, especialy on G-14/3 as it is very good sector, i can say it is like ViP sector in that area.

E-12 is no doubt gamble, but, I am having very high hopes that some news will come latest by March 2013, and once E-12 announced, all sectors arround their price will go on hold. E-12 will be the eye center of Islamabad and for investors arround.

Please help me understand the discussion about G-14. On Google earth I see G-14/2 almost completely occupied by village type concrete houses. One third of G-14/3 is also dense village population which will come in between G-14/3 and G-14/4. Yes part of G-14/3 can be developed as an extension of G-13/2 (also G-14/1 has some room for development)but I don't understand how the rest will be developed. When was the last time CDA able to vacate such dense villages? Where would be the Markaz (main commercial area) of G-14?

Vacation is of land is the responssibility of Housing Foundation and they have aquired the land, there are still some cases pending and that will also be vacated within first two weeks of Nov 2012. but, this no more big matter as the court is watching over this matter and we will have possession of plot within 1-1/2 year.

Dear Jahanzeb the court was watching over sugar price also and wanted sugar to be sold for Rs 40 per kg. I am talking about ground realities. Just take a look at satellite images, it is not a matter of "some cases pending", I am talking about entire G-14/2 covered with large concrete structures (north side of G-14/3 is okay). Nevertheless I sincerely wish you best of luck. By the way can anyone provide link to map of G-14. I could only find map of G-14/4.

Good news for Bahria town residents, LTC (Lahore transport company) has started the bus service from Safari villas round about to thokar niaz beg daily from 6am to 10:30 pm, the service was inaugurated yesterday with the latest CNG, AC buses of PAKOR.

Thank you very much for sharing the information. It is really an important facility for the residents of Bahria Town Lahore. The bus will leave for (Thokar to Bahria and vice versa) after every half an hour.
Though we already have conventional buses which are operating on same route but this new service is really impressive. It will charge Rs.25/= for one trip.

Do people living in these societies really use these bus service as everyone has their own cars and one who own a car do not usually use buses or vans? One has to take poor transport service from Thokar to go to other area of Lahore. Sorry it's just a question as I am not in Pakistan but do appreciate the start of this good service.

JJJ, bro the commuters of this service does not include only the residents of these societies, a lot of other people including the labor, workers in different offices, servants etc were facing problems to travel, this service would definitely help those people if not the residents.
