the best school in lahore where your chilren learn respect of their parents and when parents die they pray for them and their character bilds on islamic value to keep their salah established and that is only possible when schooling consists of teaching of islam,science and world knowledge, but try to make your children knowlegeable with islam,prophet Muhammad PBUH teachings and then other things.Quran should not only be recited but children should know what is the translation of the words and they shold realize they are not free into this world some one is watching them for their deeds.

I bought a 1 K plot in State-life housing society phase 2 about 5 years back for 13.5 lackh. Now I can sell it for 8.5 lackh only. It is hard to wait anymore with prevailing situation and trend. Kindly advise, if I sell this plot for 8.5 lackhs, where I may invest my money.

I bought it for Rs 23.5 lakh during 2005 and sold it last year or Rs 8.5 lakh as there is no hope for its development. I consider sold it now and invest in DHA Town. At least you will get on ground ready plot.

I have a completely different view point on real state investment. First of all try to be the first buyer and not buy in the open market. Once you have bought it and if you do not need the money do not sell it. It has to appreciate. But if you are doing for trading and investment then it is a different story.

I am not a trader nor an investor, all i want is one single plot for my future home, and I am not selling it because i need money. I want to keep it but what I read, it has no future, no intention of management to develop it and seen some posts regarding pits in SL-2, they don't have enough land: for these reasons I want to sell it ONLY to buy just one single plot where I can get "a plot" in my lifetime to construct 2 or 3 rooms and call it home.

1.I am really sorry about your case & pray to Allah (SWT) to help you
2.I feel this discussion is useless because we do not know how long it will take you to sell your plot in State Life 2 & due to this uncertanity no advice/suggestion of today is valid.
3.If you have any savings now & can afford book a 5 marla residential plot in Sector D of BT Lahore & put your SL 2 plot on sale.
4.If item 3 is not possible & you have made up your mind be bold, go ahead & sell your SL 2 plot & them come back to this forum to seek advice.
5. Pl. don't mind my bold point of view.

Few years back Bahria offered plot in phase-8 in exchange for phase-9. I suggest that you go Bahria and exchange it for phase-8. Majority of phase-9 land was sold to DHA for phase-3. I could be wrong but that's the information I have from my own research. Go Bahria and talk to them, I am sure they will help.

The location is opposite to Phase 5 A/C blocks, and 5-ext (M block, or whatever new block number) will be "interlinked" and connected with existing Phase 5 via service lane, and exit roads.

Brothers, Across ring is a much bigger and would be planned DHA than the other side of Ring Road so even DHA don't link it with existing Phase 5, it doesn't really matter. DHA phase 5 part , phase 6 ,7 8 and 9 all are across ring road so in future Proper phase 5 may need a link road but not for one living across!!! Cheer up

The newly townplanned area of phase 7 below blocks T, U, X AND Y is a much better location than Phase 8 Z block. Phase 8 Z block is located around 2 KM off Burki Road along the khaira distributary. I don't understand what's wrong with proximity to BRB canal. It will take less than 5 minutes to get from H block phase 6 to the lower edge of phase 7. So park view file holders who have been inquiring about Z block DHA PHASE 8 should know that the location of Z block is worse off. It's no where near current phase 8 and will be at least 2 km across burki road.

Dear, Khaira Distributary is fresh water channel coming from BRB and dividing Ph8 and Ph6 along main Road. Do not worry, PV files are well adjusted but as these were not basically issued from DHA so one should not be expecting so much. These are not now plots and sooner will be developed.

Model town is a good location; it is older than DHA yet less crowded as compared to DHA. Model town has another advantage over DHA, the type of people living in model town are not newly-rich class.
BT is good if you do not have to commute daily to Lahore
