Both NFC2 and Sui Gas 2 are good safe investments. Both schemes have land and are having development work on ground. Both schemes are slow in their development. Location wise NFC2 is much better as it has direct approach from Multan road and Canal Bank road. Sui Gas 2 is located next to AWT2 and under Bahria Town next to NFC2.

It is a time for us to reflect on our shortcomings as a nation. I think our biggest falure is education and if it is not dealt with on emergency basis, may be we or our childern will read something like the following on the centinniel celebrations of 14th August 2047:

I have been out of Pakistan for almost a decade now and the force that drove me out was injustice at every point. Injustice didn't only come from people in power or positions but almost every single individual in the society as it became a norm to survive like that i.e. jungle rules. If I ever tried to stand against any of the situations, I was considered weird or crazy.

Today, I think about 14th August and all that comes to mind is Muneeb and Mugheeb's death last year. This is enough to convince me that it isn't just the leaders but the common man who is to be blamed. Our youth is putting up with things no one around the world puts up with.

Hell, there are even revolutions now in arab and african countries but in Pakistan, our 'men' are only capable of pulling wheelies and hooting at girls all day.

We have only one choice for brave and honest leader, Imran Khan. Even though I haven't been back in years, I'll come to Pakistan INSHALLAh just to vote for him!

Procurement of material is the crux stage. Installation, testing commissioing of distribution network should not take long. One can expect this whole activity to finish by the end of 2012 which is indeed good provided it so happens.

Also society office had a meeting last week regarding water supply system. Their survey team has declared ample supply of water underground as this whole land was agriculture land. Beside that, plan is to draw a supply line from highway as well. With current pace, we hope society will be ready for possession by mid 2013.

I dont think we should judge anyone's intentions based on their looks, we have some cabinet members who sport that look. Having said that, from the description, its highly probable that its a fraud. "Pahlay aaiay pehlay paiaay" realy? that was a tired phrase in the 80s, cant believe someone is using it in 2011.

I think that the rates in those areas (like Moriday or MonuAbad) are very low. Though they didn't mention their exact location. But it seems that they could provide plots in such low rates, if that is near Moridkay. But one thing can be considered as doubtful, that in case of advance payment, they will also discard development charges, along with 1 free shop and main road facing plot. :O. Anyway, if they are also giving registry then at least it can be considered as somewhat secure, which also proves that they have at least land with them. :)

The discussion, by different friends, in this post clearly highlight the need for LDA to put in place requirements, like CDA have for Islamabad, for approval & advertisement of a new housing scheme in the jurisdiction of Lahore Development Authority.

LDA should also have its website where people may check the status of any housing scheme.

This is the only way of safegarding hard earned life savings of people who are already struggling to meet their day to day requirements of life.

the area is not under jurisdiction of Lahore. it falls under Sheikhupura district. moreover due to huge chemical factories in the area under ground water is polluted and population of area is already having big health related problems.

Very good information sir. The purpose of my above post was to emphasize that relavant Municipal authorities should have laws & mechanism in place to inform/warn people about any problem/irregularities/dangers about all housing schemes in their jurisdiction.
