Very unfair picture painted here by PROGRESS. You have lost lot of your credibility showing just one side of picture only.

Please stop misguiding others by showing the worst possible pictures of undeveloped parts of DHA7. This undeveloped area is under fully developed T and U blocks. For proof see this carpeted road that end in ext area of U block. You can also see undeveloped extension area is located under water tanks of fully developed T and U blocks. This under development area is clearly in extension strips of U block not even shown yet in latest official DHA 7 map.

Thanks Habib, True pakistani and reality. I do not know the reason why DHA was sooooo upset. I was smiling while reading his comments about me. Neither I have inveted any money in DHA no I'm a property dealer. I have never ever visited these areas also. What I'm also trying to do is to post any prograssive picture which may help overseas brothers. Here my moto is same its just a picutre from a web which I posted here to get more education not enger from you my sweet brothers like DHA.

In fact I'm a very old reader of the page (Since CMY was in USA) and never had any bad comments from Lahorerealestate people to stop posting such images on this page.

earler i thought to send some comments dha phases nera to border vicinity but DHA took the lead, though he discussed on his own whims (kihal) far away from reality and he was emotional in his analysis as well as passed some derogatary remaks for the peopole who live in down town. DHA phases near border vicinity will not bear even single artillery shelling of enemy and will be deserted.i warn the people not to invest in border vicinity areas.because no body can anticipate any disasterous like attack on ghq and mehran naval base and 9/11, while we have our enemy across the border. BRB purely made for defence purpose and enemy crossed BRB in 71 and repulsed by our army. In any warfare the ultimate goal is occupation and that start from border line and reaching ravi pull will take some time. I may point that distance from Kuchery to wagha is 28 km and from our side the population is upto wagha border. The distance from Amritsar to border indian side is 30 km and completely wihout any popultion the indian govern does not allow the people to live there excep villages that exist alrady. The most suffering will be for those who are living in DHA phases near to border in case of any war with India

1. DHA 5 ext DHA has given prime land to askri 11 ext.
2/3. DHA 6/7 try to buy a on gruond plot as there is no good location left for file holders.
4. DHA park view is depends on your luck. (A gamble)
5. DHA 9 is long term and best rewarding if you get a good location plot.

I read analysis of DHA8 given by many members and concluded by CMY. I have been allotted a plot against allocation file between 574 and 590. In the initial map it was a corner plot in some other line which was changed to this location in the newly published map. What is the value of this plot? Is there anyway to take up case with DHA on the basis of first map published after the ballot?

I intend to buy a house in pakistan and want to transfer money from UK about 60,000 GBP in couple of months. Can any brother share the best method to transfer this amount to Pakistan as I am concerned about the drive to get more taxes.

I couldn't understand what you mean by tax as foreign remittances are exempt form Income tax in Pakistan.

You can transfer through UNB London to any bank in pakistan but rate is not great, they usually give little less than market. Best way is to check the dollareast lahore web site on daily basis and the day rate is over 140 PRS, you can transfer some money through wall steet foreign exchange any branch in UK.

I just sold a property in Canada and deposited a Canadian Dollar check in my PKR bank account in Citibank here in Pakistan. The clearing of the check takes about 3-4 weeks and the money is converted at the day's interbank rate. The branch Manager tried his best to give me the best possible rate on the day.

There are no taxes on Foreign remittances but the Bank will ask you to provide some proof on the source of funds in my case I provided the closing statement from the lawyer.

If you have a GBP account in HSBC in UK and one in Pakistan,,it will be best as they take very small charges (15-20 GBP) for transfer amounts upto 10000GBP, and no conversion charges......
Even if you have the GBP account in some other bank in Pakistan, its charges are nominal...

You can check more on their website.

You can get best rate of conversion in Pakistan only from a money exchanger...

Dear Adnan,

You are not liable for any taxes if you transfer money through legal channel ie by bank transfer so you have a proof of the source of money. The charges are nominal for most banks in UK. You can transfer money to any bank in Pakistan if you have a GBP account. For example I have transfered funds from Natwest UK to ABL Pakistan without extra charges.

If you want the best rate than you shoud transfer from a GBP account to GBP account in Pakistan. Later you can convert it to rupees at your own convenience. If you don't have GBP account in Pakistan than its probably worth opening one now.

for example if i work in uk under table and dose not show that money when i file tax return end of the year and later i tansfer that money through uk bank to pakistan bank in that case uk bank will tellthe tax department or not or tax depatment will know later or if they know later what they ask me to pay tax plus fine ? or i will be fine mean no tax on foreign remittances. thanks

Mr cc,

One of the reasons that you don't have to pay tax in Pakistan on foreign remittance is because you have already paid tax on that money in the country where you are working (eg: UK).

Any money that you earn in UK, you have to pay tax on it. If you have not paid tax in UK, there is a good chance that the taxman will find out,even though tax department don't usually check your bank accounts. But any bank transaction will always be on record so you can't deny it. The tax system in UK is such that sooner or later they will find out so my advise is to never commit tax fraud. If you are caught than you have to pay tax + interest + fine and possible criminal conviction.

And don't forget that all the free public services you get in UK like education and health services etc are only possible due to the tax money, so everyone should honestly pay the due taxes.

Only if everyone in Pakistan paid tax honestly and the govt used this money for public services, we woud never need to take loan or aid from anyone and could easily become independant.

now pakistani agents are not good, better u take cheapest package mean without residence, then u come makkah from jeddah, first pray umrah, then come after two days in madianh, u self book hotel in these days, and choose better condition hotel. and last go for umrah from madinah by bus hotel package, package include travel bw madinah makkah and return and stay hotel, this package two types, 1st from wedenesday to friday, 130 ryals per person 2nd is thursday to friday 100 riyals per person. in this package hotel is ****.

Rates are very low compare but good standard. Do not expect it to be 5 star but both hotels are decent.

The construction is at halt at Eden Garden. Eden is not paying attention to this project. If you are too much interested, contact eden office and they should have many for resale.

A 500 rupees ad in Jang & many seller will contact you.

There are some real nasty agents in the market, i know two of them, one is Rizwan, other is Salman Ali. They try to buy from seller like 50-60% of what is paid (heavy loss for seller) and then sell for higher price. They are also spreading negative rumors for the Eden Gardens. Stay away from these culprits.
