dear imran khaybane ameen is very long term investment and as u know every body is saying dont invest here.in my point of view for four year LDA avenue1 is best for investment point of view and for making a house after four years.possession is available in some blocks there u can buy one canal plot in 19 lacs 20 lacks all dues cleared.and if u want to buy 10 marla plot u should buy in M or J blocks.in M and J blocks if u search u can buy 10 marla plot in 12,13 lacs and possession is withen this year inshaAllah.but still u did not tell ur budget.

I am also an overseas and i was also interested to buy plot in Valencia. No doubt, it is very beautifull and i fully recommend. I searched more than a year in valencia for a 1 kanal cornor plot. Most of the agents dont have plots. One plot you will find with many agents or property dealers. Let me tell you the truth most of the attractive plots belonged to overseas pakistani. They come in the market, check market price and then disappear and left you in agony. Dealers or agents wont let you bargain and always tell you bargain is only 50,000 not more. I think the biggest problem of Pakistan is not cricket, it is just an innocent recreational activity that lets people forget about the harsh realities of life. One recreational activity and you have to bring Nafs and shirk into that and I am glad you didnt call it "Dajjal". Why are all Muslims so anxiouly waiting for the "Doomsday" and always in search of a new Dajjal and Mehdi. One day Tv is dajjal, the other day camera is dajjal, the next day an airplane is dajjal....an airplane for crying out loud.

I think the biggest problem why Pakistan is not progressing and its rather regressing is because of our beloved religion. In theory, it teaches tolerance and moderation and I fail to see it in practice. These religious fundamentalists always are asking for an Islamic system in Pakistan, I say put these members of different sects in one room and ask them to come up with the Islamic system for the country and they will come out in a blood bath. They all call each other Kafirs so which Islamic system will you implement in Pakistan?? Is it Deobandi, Is it barelve, Is it Sufi, Is it Wahabi, Is it Shia, Is it Ahl-e- Hadees. I guarantee you they all call each other Kafirs.

We need to keep our religion to ourselves rather than "laan Thaan' others for missing a prayer. Do you think God sent us to this world to become champion Namazis while every other issue like killing the innocent, human rights of women and minorities, intolerance, corruption, greed, etc. is alive and well. Something is wrong with this picture. Religion and state affairs should never mix.

And yes..if you missed a namaaz while watching cricket, dont kill yourself of guilt...I am sure Allah will understand that it was a crucial Group A match between SL and Pak. I am sure Allah doesnt have these petty human emotions of jealousy and narrow mindedness so relax......

You are my muslim brother and msut say that i am extremely disappointed to hear your thoughts.This is actually what happens when we remain ignorant of what Allah wants from us due to not having tred of spending some time to learn our Deen. I am sure that just reading quran only one time with translation can clear all the ambiguities pertaining to religion in our mind. Just spare few moments and read the tafseer of the ayaths that i am referring to:

1. "Have you (O Muhammad, PBUH) seen him who has taken as his Ilah his own vain desire? Would you then be a 'Wakil' (disposer of his affairs) over him?"

(Aayah No. 43, Surah Al-Furqan, Chapter No. 25, Holy Qur'an).

2. "Have you seen him who takes his own lust as his 'Ilah'? And Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember?

(Aayah No. 23, Surah Al-Jāthiya, Chapter No. 45, Holy Qur'an).

Life Line for DHA 7 Exit
Contrary to common eye illusion DH 7 main Bluvard will not be main road for Exit from the DHA 7. If you have a close Look of Current Map You will find all burden of Traffic will be on
1 Road Between Block Q and S it will be shortest Road to exit the 2nd Road will be Between S and V Block from it you will have to take 3 turns before you will reach J Block and Exit.
There will be many fine details which will be evident in Coming days especially where Pengali Village and other encroachments get Exit. Looking at the experience of old Phase of DHA it looks many Locations which are not Considered good wwill gain while other will Lose value

2nd Road between S and V might never be made it will have to pass through dense area of Village DHA will not be interested nither Village people, The whole Load of Exit will be on road between Q and S Block,
However residents of DHA will still have many exit option, But i think congestion will not be asignificant fetute even in 20 years

Congestion will not be problem as there is no phase beyond phase-7. Still DHA is not the best planner. Sometimes, the stupidity in DHA maps is clearly evident. Prime examples are badly planned B & D blocks of phase-5.

Construction of swimming pool in basement
Dear Fellows
I am planning to construct my house with basement on a one canal plot in DHA 6 in next 1-2 years.

I am thinking about constructing a small swimming pool for my kids in the basement of the house.

Has anyone on this web site got a first hand experience of constructing/researching to construct a swimming pool in basement of the house? :h

I have seen swimming pools on ground floor in one canal houses but that has a serious impact on the available space on ground floor which is not desirable by me. Basement seems a suitable place to have one in my opinion.

I have yet to consult an architect to discuss this idea. However if any knowledgeable brother on this website can shed some light on the pro's and cons of the idea, and any estimated cost for this venture, it would be a great help.

it would cause longterm damage and shorter the life of house enventually. one cannote stop the seepage anyway.small unfeelable tremers of ground cannot stop the shearing of walls and basement ultimately. however a dam engineer can help you if u r dicided to make such luxury plan

never build a pool in the basement as it is dark and get very dull view. best is to build a pool in ground floor

Environment in basement is not an issue..it you design a frame structure and raise the plinth level 1ft and keep windows all along. Pump room and noise is also not an issue if u project this out side below backyard....

Seepage in the basement can cause un-treatable problems and life long tension. In my commercial Plaza I have a problem of seepage in the basement. I contacted a German firm working in Lahore. Their treatment was costing around Rs.500 per SFT excluding civil works which were to be manage and finance in addition. I finally treated it through a local company.I don't know, I can tell after the Mansoon.
My advise is buy a two kanal plot and have house on one Kanal without basement and use the other kanal for what ever you prefer. You will still save money and tension.

It is better to have pool on roof rather than basement.

it will be massey in base ment and the atmosphere of home is also wetty and its like rainy season chip chipa out door is best away from dirt funges or the other disease open area is the best
