Please go ahead with the plot in CC block, as this is the best block in State Life Phase II. In this range, U wont be getting even 5 Marla plot in even normal housing societies in Lahore.
So go ahead and grab some good deal with clean paper work.U will get atleast three times return after 5 to 6 years.

Lets please share views about latest development status of DHAI Isl Phase 1 Ext. As I know the ballot of DHAI Phase 1 Ext was held in early 2005 but unfortunately it has not so far developed. About few months back, I met DD Plans Mr Faisal at DHAI Isl Office who told me that the dev work is going on and will be INSHAALLAH completed within 1-2 years time. Anyone who know about its latest dev status may share his views/knowledge for benefit of the viewers. Regards to all

i have visited the area..........the only development is that of a road leading to dha 1 extn from dha phase 1 side...... seeing the ground work 1-2 years seems to be a false claim....i think if development continues at the current pace...then whole ph 1 extn will develop in at least 5 years....keep in mind that development work has just been started.....no development was done in the past years.....the development work is currently being done from the side of sector b and c.....sector A area which was shown on the original ph 1 extn map is now part of askari 14.....i dont know if the original allotment letter holders of sector A will be re-located or what?....a good place to live if u actually want to build ur home...because once the development is complete the area will be simply beautiful due to its natural beauty....the area is greener and better than actual phase 1....if for investment then there are risks...because property value in this area will fluctuate on speculations....still i think it is a better investment than dha valley and ph 2 extn....another plus point about ph 1 extn is that future askari colonies will be part of ph 1 extn....i think they are already going to merge askari 14 with ph 1 extn........however if u are intending to buy a plot here then i think it is the best time....because dha ph 1 extn plots are at their lowest now....my plot was worth 27 lac in 2005 but now not more than 12.5 lacs...i am selling because in need of money...to those who already have plots in ph 1 extn i would advice that wait for 3 years....may be after some development u get a rise in the worth of ur plots....the area after development will not take more time to get inhabitated because ph 1 is already populated and askari colonies get populated the day houses are complete.

@aamir, thank you very much for your detail analysis of Phase I Ext. You are right, Block A has been relocated to Ask 14 followed by Askari 15 as well. Block A allottees have already relocated. pakistan is the most corrupt country on earth.It does not deserve to exist. I purchased a file in DHA 1 ext for 40 lacs. Paid development charges amounting to 6 lacs..My plot in the ballot came out in block A.. now i get to know that it does not even exist..it is just a piece of paper ..only because some generals want ASKARI 14 to be in the armpit of EMAAR properties..to make a fast buck.. i pray to god that pakistan breaks up and the Generals are hanged by whoever conquers

Please inform the fate of LDA Avenue-1 which is infact the fate of all those poor allotties who have been waiting since long to build a home. But no body there to listen to them or to tell them what wrong they have done. It is worth mentioning here that everone having plot in the scheme is not an investor. People like me do not have many options, rather each passing year is making it more difficult to build a home. It is feard that the plot will ultimately be sold to spend on the education and marriages of children.

Farrukh Raza sahib I am unable to see any development work on Z block of DHA 7. Even in DHA 6 development work have been slowed a lot for un known reasons.
Map is changed but its over 90% plots will stay on same spot and will have new numbers assigned to them. If a plot dont exist on spot any more than you will be alloted a new plot.

2. "Best living area" varies from person to person depending upon his financial resources, priorties and preferences. You need to be a bit specific your question is too wide.

If your budget is for plot only than DHA phase 6 Lahore is the best place in this budget. If you are looking to build a house too in this budget than buy a plot in IEP town and build a house on the plot in this budget.

Hotel Rising SUN I&T Centre G-10. Family suits 2 rooms with 2 baths rent . U can bargain.Foods rates are also reasonable. In Rwalpindi too many options but in Islamabad u can hire one room in middle class hotel.

I dont think any hotel in I&T Center is good for staying with Family....
There is a guest house in G-10 on the road between G-10 and F-10,,I dont remember the name but it may be a better option....If someone knows the name, please let SI know about it...
If u can negotiate, u may get a good room in Guest Houses at the back of Kulsoom Plaza in F-8 at this rate as well...

Agree with SK. I stayed at this place twice and it was superb. You are Google it's reviews and they are 5*. Prices are a little over 3K but well worth the place. Service is just phenomenal and room very clean. It's not as fancy as 5 start hotels, but clean and much better to stay with family.
