I recently bought a 2-bedroom safari home in Bahria phase-8.
2-bedrooms with two bath rooms, one living room, one kitchen. It is 5 Marla single story home, with a little lawn in front and place to park two cars. The price fluctuates from 24 to 27 lacs.

Be carefull while buying any home in safari valley. Construction is not good and u have to face lots of problem. This is my personal experience as i have one in this area.

It is an excellent investment. The development is one of its kind, and I have not seen such development in another part of the country with a wide multi lane roads, mosques, hospital and other amenities of life. Its one of its kind. however Will Phase 8 will take another 4-6 years to be populated, but a good time to buy. 8 marla bahria home with 3 beds is a good investment in my opinion. Bahria is directly selling for 70 lakhs but you can get one from investor for 60 lakhs, since not too many buyers for any property in the market currently. You may have some minor cosmetic issues you could fix easily as with any other developer, but overall, no match to bahria.

Dear brothers:
Just want to know the current price of 1merla residential plot in WAPDA/VALENCIA TOWN. Actually i bought a ready-made newly build home 2years back near Badiyan road. Unfortunately, all the materials been used in that house are third class and i have to send 10 to 25 thousands ever month for different damages occurring regularly. Thinking to sell it and buy a plot so that i would construct a house with better materials and with proper design(my long back home sweet home dream).
Heard that wapda town and valencia are the schemes with wide roards and beautiful greenry.

Please help if possible.

In fact this house is built just in front of my house ,not by builder. It was an individual and we were watching ,he was using good material ,but now came to know ,he is selling due to his own problems(not known).
His demand is high ,because he spent money to live by himself but can be negotiated you.

Bribe is when ; he will offer Money for Ilegal work or Unoffical permission/deed.
Anyways, i believe he is offering just agent fee. (agent is a middle man). And agent fee (for marketing) is not wrong.

Dear CMY and others

I have already donated to Edhi and PTI(Imran Khan) for flood relief. I would like to donate more but I am not sure who I should donate to. Only organisation with any real machinery and manpower is the Army. Personally, I do not mind donating to the Army for flood relief, do you know if they have any mechanism in place to monitor how the funding will be spent.

I will not be donating any money to government or government organizations....... to pay for 5 star overseas trips, villas, mansions, bullet proof limousines, etc....

I will appreciate sensible replies instead of how the Army suppressed us, etc.....

If you had a choice of PTI, Edhi and Army. Which one will you donate to?

I think most people like me will struggle reaching isolated areas because of damaged infrastructure so Army is the only option left? I could be wrong.

Instead of sugar, honey and dates might be better to take. Potentially, another item to take will be Roasted Chickpeas.

It is known as a well diciplined, organized, hard working and honest organization. The foundation has deployed 15,000 volunteers, saying the magnitude of the calamity was so huge that it had to increase the number of medical camps from 19 to 75. Due to shortage of Atta, our trip has been delayed by one day. However we have got enough funds (mostly from our immidiate family and friends) for the weight limit we can carry on two truck loads that we plan to take with us tomorrow.

If you are in Pakistan it's best if you can take the good yourself and distribute to the needy with your own hands. If you are overseas please ask some of your family, friends who you can trust to do the same duty. Otherwise please donate to a trustworthy organization like Eidhi or another organization that you can trust more regarding the delivery of your donations to the needy people. But please do as much as you can to help the flood victims.

If we plan a future trip or plan to add another truckload to current trip, we will let you know.

It basically comes down to who you trust. Once you find someone reliable, be it Edhi, Imran Khan, Helping Hands or Al-Khidmat we should donate what ever we can.

Thanx for your visions. in fact the people in pakistan are generly poor and want to progress and grow without or with little efforts. This forces them to do dishonesty, hanky - panky and short cuts in every thing. Some may be more effected than floods and should also be considered for help. To give every thing for floods effectee is not mendatory.

you must give aid for the cause of Allah to whom you feel better. The people who dont want to contribute aid or donot have resources to give aid have fallen into pros and cons of justification of recepients. Fitrana as aid can also be given.

Dear friends,

We are having serious problems obtaining Wheat Flour (Atta) which is short in the market. It may be available at the high rates but not at the Rs. 200 or Rs. 210 per 10 KG bag as announced by the Punjab Government. We need about 1200 ten kilogram bags for the flood victims. Obviously if we can get the discount rate (upto Rs. 215 per 10 KG) more families can be supported with the limited available amount.

*** Important ***

Initially some suppliers promised us that they will arrange 1200 bags but this evening (Monday evening), after whole day's wait, we were told about the severe shortage of Atta. We are also told that if D.C.O. Lahore Mr. Sajjad Bhutta approves we can get the required 1200 bags. It is quite late for the day, and we will try to approach and convince D.C.O. Lahore tomorrow.

If anybody with connections can help us in this regard please do so. Please call Mr. CMY @ 0322-4009967 or 0300-4009967 if you can help. Otherwise tomorrow we will probably have to buy at higher rate or replace atta with some other suitable item.

BTW: we have added dates as suggested by a brother on this site.
