I heard they have brought some transformers to be installed in phase 8. Looks development is happening, but still wait until 2015 mid year. for now If anyone has got some new Pictures please upload.

If you use google satellite map to see , It looks T block is most developed and then W block.following them U & V are also developed.Block S and Y are still Less Develped. In the earlier mentioned blocks mostly the Roads are darker in color, showing much developed.I think 2014 end or 2015 Q2 will should be ready.

currently all the sectors of phase 8 are good for investment purposes. in future this phase will be consider better than phase 5 due to its location and commercial Broadway and high rise international buildings in surroundings like five star hotels and buildings for business purposes.

ex Parkview is great location but not exactly a good investment. Prices going up far less compared to the rest of the DHA. This is owing to three factors:

1. Surrounded by villages and litigations
2. No direct access from Ring Road (you either use proper Phase 8 entrance) or Barki road interchange
3. Development is below average (if you are on the main road its good but if you go into any of the lanes, the development is obvious (small greenbelts, smaller roads 35 ft).
4. DHA and investors see it as an adopted child. This is also Reflected through prices. 2 Kanal reasonable park view plot is available from 2 crore 20 lacs (despite possession and "abaadi").. This is price of a good 1 kanal plot in DHA phase 5.

I personally like Parkview but for some reason it is not a favorite to many buyers. This is not just Parkview. If you look at Eden next to Parkview, it has the same issue. The same is applicable to Sui Gas. The only benefit Park View has is that DHA acquired but that didnt help much in prices.
