I have a 10 marla plot in X block phase 7. Kindly advise me whether it is better to hold the plot till possession or it is better to sell the plot now and invest the money somewhere else?

If its good to hold now, then where do you see the prices of 10 marla plots in phase 7 in 6 months time or after possession? The prices are around 5.5-6 million now.

As far as balloting is concerned, it must be within this year. No one knows the exact date only speculations are around. But few things are very clear.

1. No one is in more hurry than the DHA itself. DHA has to collect the development charges, more the delay more is their depreciation.

2. General Kiyani has to leave this year. Balloting must be close to his retirement. (you know why ;))

As far Bahria is concerned. It has been safe haven for investors recently. Overseas extension is also nice opportunity. Closer to sector D. I feel its better investment than sector F. If you can hold it for 6-8 months, you can gain handsome amount.

This has given rise to many rumours about misappropriation of members money, and many other dishonest practices. These rumours might be untrue. But the Supreme Court, especially the honourable Chief Justice and other honourable judges are requested to intervene and ask the Managing Committee of the Society to make public a detailed report about the progress made so far in acquiring the remaining land, getting NOC from the CDA, and timeline for development of the plots. This would clear the fair name of Supreme Court from any questions being raised about the SCECHS and its affairs. After all, it is the Supreme Court whose name is linked to the project.
