I am confused about one matter. LRE posted below info today

DHA Lahore Phase 9 Allocation Files 5M = You can Sell at 12 & can Buy at 12.25
DHA Lahore Phase 9 Allocation Files 10M = You can Sell at 20 & can Buy at 20.25
DHA Lahore Phase 9 Allocation Files 1K = You can Sell at 33.60 & can Buy at 33.85

DHA Lahore Phase 9 (A, B, C and D Blocks) Residential Plots Available (Under Development,50% Complete)5M = 21 To 28, 8M = 33 to 38, 10M = 48 to 52

My question is, these two are different Phase 9 ?
People say balloting is not yet done then how come phase 9 plots are 50% complete?

The difference is a *FILE* and *PLOT*

File is a potential plot with uncertain location while Plot is a land

with location.

There is a single Phase 9.

Dear Salman Sahib,

In DHA Phase 9 A, B, C & D Block are called DHA Town as well where develoment is in progress.DHA had allotted 5 and 10 marla plots to shudas of army and army personnel (Sobadar etc) in phase 9. DHA town or phase 9 proper are one & same thing. No difference between DHA phase 9 or DHA phase 9 proper.The Major ballot of phase 9 files is still due.

DHA Town is part of phase 9 where plots were allotted to Shuhada's families and they are selling those plots. Blocks A,B,C and D are
the DHA Town blocks where development is in progress. Rest of phase 9
has files which will be first balloted and then development will start.

Reality is that parts of phase 9 (A,B,C,D blocks) are balloted already and undergoing development. But most of DHA phase 9 is not balloted yet and is being traded as plot files. After balloting these files will be converted to plots and development charges will be added.

Invest in Phase 6 or phase 8 Without any 2nd thought , 2nd openion and delay.
You may get ready and developed plot in Phase 6 N block and un developed plot in phase 8 X and U block. My sincere advise is Phase 6.
Prices r getting higher day by day.. I have lost almost 1.5 mio just because of delay in decesion.

It is better to buy one kanal plot in phase 8 in case 3 to 5 years. you can buy one kanal plot in X , U , V and T Block depending on location according to your budget

- Which pipes to use for Sewerage. Dadex or Popular ?

For sewerage disposal, Dadex products are better but slightly more expensive. However Popular pipes & fittings also serve the purpose quite well. For hot/cold water supply PPR pipes perform better than GI pipes in terms of jointing as well as durability.They don't get rusted & there are little chances of leakage at joints. Cost is higher but when you consider the difference in cost in proportion with overall expenditure on house construction, I think it is worth spending a bit extra to get something better.
These fittings are available in a number of shops in & around DHA Lahore, e.g Haji Nazir & Co.in H Block of Ph.I, or United Enterprises on
Walton Road near Defence Mor.

Some one told me that either to convert this meter in single phase or get another connection of single phase.

The number of phases has nothing to do with the bill. Log your reading on a daily basis for a week or a month and see what is the problem. It could be defective meter.

3 phase meter once disconnected will cost huge sum of money to restore. check with a couple of wapda linemen instead of asking onthe forum. as forum babus might give u misleading information.

Road marking on the land is still the work done so far. The terrain of Phase 8 is very difficult and development work in Phase 8 is as slow or fast as in other DHA phases and one could easily make a guess of the timeline, which we under estimate quite frequently.

@ Hassan it looks DHA 8 will be developed where is it, No Significant earth Filling will be done, A very deep pit may be convaerted to a Deep park, Avergae Blocks may be about 8 feet deep than existing broadway road. and some Blocks may be 16 feet deep. Drainage will be done by sewage Pumps.
The Poof of above satement is that all 2 Kanal Houses on Main Bulivard are facing Back towards Broadway. This is stanage anomaly i have never seen before and looks that it is done to protect low laying houses's privacy,

@ Question, Not all block included, Y and S Blocks are missing.
That NALA was Khaira Distributory, is the extension of Distributory which run in front of State life and back of Phase-V, people of in between villages now throw their sewerage in it and started converting it in NALA.
@ Babu Gentleman, The road was constructed with the Ring Road project as side lane,also connecting Y block with X-Block, nothing to do with phase-VIII development.
