I need some information.which power cables are best. electrician recommended me PAKISTAN CABLES and he said cost of power cables for 10 marla house is around 1 LAKH rupees. Is that true.

I cost is major issue use best quality Copper wire for mains that reach each points, Pay special attention to Ac Sockets, Electric iron, electric motor etc and Microwave oven.
Other like Lights Fans, Exhaust fans TV fridge are low watage things even very heap wire does not matter.
I reduced the wiring expenses using wires according to load.
For you interest for longevity your wiring should be able to bear at least double load.
Ac 1.5 Ton 1800 to 2100 watts about 9 to 10 AMP
Electric iron 1000 watt 5 Amps
Microwave 1200 watts 6 Amps
Donkey Pump 1/2 to1 Horse power 400 to 800 watts 2 to 4 Amps
ceiling Fan 56" good quality like GFC 100 watt or 0.5 Amp
Exhaust fan 50 to 60 watts or 0.25 Amps
Fridge 12 feet 1/6 Compressor 125 watts or 0.6 Amps
Tube light 40 watts 0.25 Amps
Energy saver 20 watts or 0.1 Amp
Local circuit breaker are very cheap use them as much as possible these are usually very helpful.
Recently I got UPS wiring done with double wire in 3 beds plus kitchen and one sitting the cost including labor was only 6000.

it is highly advised to get rid of this plot /any plot in phase 7 new ballott against pv file .it will take 7 years to develop ,better invest somewhere else .
even today phase 7 proper needs 1-2 more year for develpment n possession .

I am living in UAE,and recently i have started a business on partnership with my friend in pakistan ( a dairy farm), facts and figures are given below, you are kindly requested to let me know the procedure/outlined to get it registred/legalised, in case any partner have some different opinion and this leads to some unwanted action and we need to shut down.

how we can get it legalised so that we both protect our rights in the court.

1) i am fully financer of the business
2) my partner in pakistan is managing it all
3) he is using his land for the shed and agriculture land of 3 acre for animal feed
4)till this moment we dont have any kind of agreement, although business is running from 4 months

Your concern is legitimate. In the past the society did change location and even cancelled plots due to non payment of development charges. However, the new management which is headed by a retired Brigadier as MD the things are not as they were in the past. Now transfer is done like DHA where, the photographs and electronic thumb impressions of seller and buyer appear on transfer document. Which makes the transfer process pretty transparent. Moreover, you can have your plot with INTIKAL/REGISTERY from sub registrar which the society can also arrange for you.

To me, there is no legal problem or Qabza mafia in these societies. Rest decision is yours.

There are lots of rumors some true some may be not so true.

My recommendation is

a) if you are not in dire need of cash flow and have paid all installments hold these for 2 - 3 years

b) if you are in need of cash flow, currently you may have to sell but at loss.

Again not confirmed but heard that DHA overseas sectors, Lily and possibly there was one more block which are rather safe and are being progressed.

(please do a google search and/or on LRE and you will get info.

Again remember these are from outside sources.

Also heard rumor that DHAI lily block and or one two more which have DHA homes being build near completion. Recently some 200 or so DHA homes who had not paid timely installments were cancelled and resold in Market for 60 lack plus.

Original price was 42 lack, so this 20 lack price increase.

If this is true, it is indeed positive news for DHA valley, as long as blocks are not cancelled.

If you are in Pakistan or have some sources let them visit DHA valley for further better idea

Thanks for the information and advise. I have an 8 marla plot in Daisy block and have paid all installements, minus the last one. Should I go get an allotment letter at this stage in time or should I wait to see how it plays out. At this point in time, I dont need the money.

gentleman 10 blocks had been cancelled remaining 4 overseas blocks and dha homes. 75% of dha homes are already constructed,few are remaining,gone is gone remaining part of the project is definitely profitable as 8m dha home,s current price is 60 lakhs purchasing 42 although currency depreciation and inflation and increase in the construction cost is also there.no possession still surely it will rise on possession will cross 70. as 6 M unit of BT in lahore is booked in 65 lakhs nobody knows possession time ,it is the secret of MASTER .POSSESSION OF DHA HOMES will make the place livable comfortably by that time there will be sure shot rise in the prices of plots,but you have to have wait a bit for this

Today I called up DHA Islamabad at their toll free No., to enquire abou the status of my plot (Jasmine Block - DHA Valley). To my surprise, i was informed that no block has been cancelled, and that DHA will start handing over posession of a few developed blocks by the end of this year. When I confronted them with the news of blocks being cancelled, they infomed me that all clients are most welcome to see the progress of DHA Valley on any FRIDAY. Unfortunately, since I am not based in Islamabad; I wish could any friend/expert out there confirm the actual scenario? This is very puzzling indeed.

This is what everyone is getting when they get in touch with DHAI management. I've also called them many times and they always confirmed that don't care about rumours and there's no cancellation. I think there're some real estate player who have investment in the blocks being mentioned here as safe or want to devalue to project to invest in other blocks. Anyways, the only disappointment from DHAI is that they are not officially coming forward to answer these rumours.
