WTC Shops in Islamabad by Al-ghurair Giga in DHA-II has resumed the construction. They promise to complete by March-2014. If they don't complete, they say they'll give rent to the shop owner.

They said to pay rent many years ago as well but did not keep their promise. Keep listening to unrealistic promises. this project was to be completed many years ago and still will need many more years to complete.

@ noble ... They stopped their construction work because of Dubai property was down from 2008 to 2010. Since Al-Ghurair Giga is Dubai based company, they also stopped their work. Now they have started and people are working on-site. I hope they'll complete by 2014. I also have bought a shop on installments.

I'm an oversease Pakistani and am interested to invest in any residential property (in Lahore) ranging from 10 to 20 Lakh.

Dear Friends
I also went through the whole process and finally I met an excellent archetect in Lahore through a friend. If you want to contact him I can give you the number. In market the architect ask 10/15% if you want them on turnkey basis. If not they charge 3 to 5%. It is better if you settle lum sum.

architects and builders are in thousands.but believe me...................thake dar aur woh bhi eeman dar.................its nearly IMPOSSIBLE.as most of architects have their own construction companies.they will start with you at 1800/sq ft.then making excuses of price hikes they will take you upto 2500/sq ft.also they will start using low quality material,wood,doors,insulation,everything.as u have signed the contract you cant back out.if you argue they will leave some loop hole in construction which you will regret whole life.THIS IS MY TRUE STORY.

To get design services from architects are fine and then the best is to contract for labour. Purchase best possible material yourself, you will safe lot of money.

I build my 10 marla house, purchase of best material, my brother supervise the work on daily basis, and output is excellent.

I believe that you are buying this house in 1.20 mn instead of 120 mn. Please note that 1.20 mn for a 10 marla house in Askari is already too much and you may expect 2-3 mn loss instead of gain in one year.

It seems everybody here is confused with millions. 120 mn is 12 crore, 1.2 mn is 12 lakh. I think Mr. Sher Ali is buying house for 1 crore 20 lakh which is 12 mn. As Mr Rana has mentioned 12 mn for 10 marla SD house is too much unless owner has made a major revamp of the house. I dont think Mr. Sher Ali will be able to get any profit even after 10 years but I will request property experts to comment further on this.

location of askari ten is best.but construction is below below average or you can say third class.n termite proofing ,water seepage and qquality too low.above all its gated community but crime rate is like non gated community.buy in baharia town or phase 5 defence.

For profit- invest in Lahore only. Appreciation in DHAI/CDA/Bahria in Isb/Pindi is not much as compared to property in Lahore. In Lahore invest in DHA or Bahria only. Buy two DHA-9 files and sleep for 4 yrs :)

For living- both Bahria and DHA are good. I would personally prefer Bahria. Don't know much about CDA, you may be able to get small plot in new CDA sectors.
