Canal Flyover to open on March 23

LAHORE - The Canal Flyover, which will ease traffic and will increase trade activities on the Ferozepur Road, will be inaugurated on March 23, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said on Sunday. He expressed these views during an inspection of the under-construction Canal Flyover on Ferozepur Road. Members Provincial Assembly Mian Muhammad Nauman, Ijaz Ahmad, Lahore commissioner, DG LDA, Lahore DCO and NLC Brig Shahid Majeed of were also present on this occasion. Shahbaz directed the DCO to identify a suitable piece of land for constructing a parking plaza on Ferozepur Road for the convenience of people and traders.
While directing to constitute a supervisory committee for ensuring completion of Canal Flyover within stipulated period, the CM said the committee would supervise the construction work regularly. He directed the chief traffic officer to ensure smooth flow of traffic on Ferozepur Road. Parks and Horticulture Authority DG said green areas would be developed alongside Canal Flyover. Earlier, Communication and Works Secretary Azam Suleman while giving a briefing to the CM said the work on the project of Canal Flyover was being done all round the clock.

I would like seek expert's views on Rwp/Isbd - Bahria Phase 7/8 vs. DHA Phase 2.

I wish to build a commercial plaza for rental income and I thought I should try to benefit from learned members of the forum before making a final choice.

Options, I am considering at the moment are Bahria Phase 7/8 Commercial Areas around Bahria Expressway. And second option is DHA Plots around GT Road.

What are the future prospects of each considering 5 years timeframe in mind?

Salaam,

I got a 8 Marla commercial plot on commercial broadway Phase-8, DHA Lahore by paying the first installment of 2M PKR back in September 2007. Haven't paid the remaining installments but the plot hasn't been cancelled as yet by DHA despite my several requests over the years. Please advise if I can sell it off as it is or let me have and any other info, guidance, suggestion.
