A visit to Bahria Enclave
Bahria Enclave
Yesterday we visited Bahria Enclave and here are our findings:
We started from the Fiazabad interchange and set our course for the Curi Road while travelling on the Park Road (The road is a real beauty indeed).
After having travelled 8 KM on the Park road and enjoying the eye catching scenes of Islamabad farms (Nowadays no more farms but “House cum farms; another product of CDA’s corrupt officials and the rich bas*@*, who breached the rules & regulations”) on my right side, I had to set my travel while turning to left on the so called “CURI ROAD”. To my surprise, I found myself on a nice road (Later on I solved this puzzle that why CDA made this road nice double road, with all the fancy street poles, like Bahria Town; A little bit further ahead, there starts CDA’s “Park Enclave”). Park Enclave entrance is also from the Park road, we were travelling on.
While travelling another 4 KM on the main Curi road, I took right turn on an ugly single road, through the Curi village, (also called as curi road) to reach Bahria Enclave. My happiness was short lived while travelling on this small approach road to the BT project but later on I thought I was happy after they explained me the existing and “future” entrances to the Enclave!
Enclave came in sight after travelling further 7 KM on the small curi road. We found a nice
location and a fascinating view of Margalla Mountains. We were also blessed with the seeing of a film star who came just when we entered the office!
Inside the office here are ugly happenings, we came across!
“Sir, all plots are sold” (Actually they are not; read down about this lie)!
“So we cannot book any plot from this office?”
“Yes Sir, you can “buy from the dealers outside on a re-sale and you can always get from us a plot without any number”
US: “Why no number?”
BT: “People are asking us for more plots and we would get more land in due course”
So here is a catch! Plots with the dealers and BT also advertising about increased
prices but a dealer would tell you that He can manage with BT on the original price? What a game?
100s of plots are NOT sold but with the dealers in term of a quota thing!
Good Stuff now:
BT promising a road from the Simly Dam approach road, a real piece of Gold if it does happen!
After connecting to the Simly Dam road, the project could go sky high.
Also regarding the approaches to their projects, they deliver more than they promise! See BT phase 1-6, they provided more than what they promised in terms of the entrances, no talking of delays but BT phase 1-6 originally there was only one approach from the high court side, originating from the Swan Camp Bridge.
So friends, here we stand:
A good location project and BT would make its best to become on par with Park Enclave and will surely get a path from Simly Dam road to the Enclave as they are selling a commercial 4 Marla plot at 60 Lacs and to make their OWN (not sold to customer commercial land) expensive, they have to get an approach from Islamabad side. But for the time being the approach is only through the Curi village and another from the main Curi double road, as BT says!
And hopefully that second (One of the ONLY two existing available approaches), does not have another village in between as we could not survey that road due to the dark!
