It is absolutely amazing that people cannot understand a very, very simple truth: it is WE ourselves who are responsible for this mess. If we refuse to be bought, bribed and sold by any outsider, be it USA, India, Saudi Arabia, Iran, anyone, then NO ONE can do anything much to us.

Let us be clear: this is NOT about religion at all. This about power, brute power. This is about living a way of life which is dictated to us by these illiterate people. The people of Pakistan don't need any lessons in Islam from these criminals. We well know what our religion is, and we know how to live it. Islam did not come in the last 20~25 years, and it did not come from South Waziristan etc. We don't need any lectures by such people who are themselves the epitome of ignorance and barbarism.

We have to stand up, as a nation, and reject these barbarians. There is simply no alternative.

Public targeted attacks are normally carried out by foreign agencies to manipulate social dynamics of that country.

However its true that Pakistan has to make it's own foreign policy in it's own best interests, which are different than interests of foreign forces from other side of globe who would stay in region for only a few years.

Especially when those foreign forces do not want to fix their own acts which fuel militancy.

Ever wonder why Switzerland, Norway or Japan are never attacked? Because they don't take panga's in other countries. They don't support oppression of Palestinians. They don't attack other countries without legitimate justification. They don't have their arm-bearers stationed in other countries. They don't manipulate or hijack governments in other countries.

- We need to realize that a freedom fight is going on in our neighbourhod (Afghanistan) against the foriegn occupant forces (US & NATO).

- The people who are fighting this freedom-war are mostly speaking the same language which is spoken in the NWFP of Pakistan and the freedom fighters are ethnically of the same origion. Therefore, people from our side of border are naturally involved in this freedom fight

- This is NOT the war of religion. It is just a conincidence that the freedom fighters are following Islam which is currently under attack by USA and West

- India has very intimate relations with existing Afghan Regime and the occupant forces who want to see India standing against China

- India was, is, and will remain the Enemy No.1 of Pakistan. Those who believe that we donot have any issue/are not facing any danger from India, actually either are on Indian/American payroll or live in fools' paradise

- India and CIA are behind most of the bomb blasts in Pakistan, except on those places where the hide outs of Blackwater were attacked

i believe these attacks are made by blackwater/Xe and just blaming the so called taliban. do u ever tried to look back when taliban were ruling afghanistan, there were no killing anywhere. also please note that there never existed any taliban movement in pakistan, there was only TNSM in malakand and even that was without any violance and existed since 1980s. whereas, TTP appears to be brain child of west to move general public against taliban. i am 100% sure there is blackwater/Xe invloved in all the current attacks in pakistan.

Please note development charges increase is for non military alloted files blocks only. Block A to K development charges will stay same at 6 lacs BUT other lower blocks of civil allotments files holders will pay 14.75 lacs.

When I spoke to DHAI about 2 months ago, they told me that they are transfering files/certificates ONLY from A-K, and A-K must be transfered by 31 Oct 09.

DHAI said the transfer for files from L-T will start after 31 Oct 09.

I have heard from reliable sources DHA Lahore phase 7 map will be changed a lot. New map will be available in about 3 months. It is "very likely" all the villages like in V and T block etc will stay at same spot and R block graveyard will also stay at same spot. Its "" VERY LIKELY" plot owners in effected area in part of blocks like Y Z X V P and R will be relocated to T and U blocks extensions etc.


Please note you should not BUY OR SELL any thing based on this info and must confirm this info 100% from your own multiple sources before and sale purchases. This info is just provided to help you and not to hurt any one's investments etc.

I doubt any major relocation because that would mean that plots in affected areas of DHA Lahore phase 6 (There are uncleared villages in phase 6 also )will also have to be relocated. Will such plots also be relocated to phase 7 ..U and T blocks..?? I dont think so..
Will Dha lahore issue a new map for DHA phase 6 also ??..as implied by CMY sahib in the case of Phase 7 ?? That would make a mockery of a prestigious institution like DHA all over the country.
I personally think these are all rumours! Please be very cautious and dont make any hasty decisions concerning your valuable property!

I really do not know what issues people have with him. We are a groupof people, if we buy a PIA ticket we expect that staff top to bottom should stand before us with folded hands. If we mail aletter with Rs 4 stamp on it, the Director General of Post Office should go and deliver the letter in a tray. All expections but when it comes to doing our part we cannot even keep our house neighborhood clean. I have seen people driving posh cars on canal ahead of me throwing all trash out of the car window. It includes plasticbags/paper bags and even peels of banana and oranges.

I am fine with malik Riaz with all hos short comings. He is a trend setter in real stae development in Pakistan.

plots which came in way of expressway are reallocated to 'Overseas sector'. my brother's plot which was in block-C was reallocated, and now he has to pay 16000USD as development charges. whereas, those in normal blocks A-K have to pay 6 lacs in development charges. However, u can make application for relocation in regular blocks if not interested in overseas sector. (please do not confuse overseas sector with overseas block of DHA valley).
new map of regular blocks is not out yet; but map of overseas sector is available.

One should never loose hope, i do understand that the present security and political situation is not conducive for property investment, but as a true pakistani we have to live and die here, anyway i would suggest that this is the peak time for property investment anywhere in Lahore, though i have reservation with Urban Developers, as per their promise they should have given the possession of Central Park in 2006, but if we get rid of Central Park management and DHA takes it over as it seems then it is a very good investment. A few years back people use to say that Johar Town is a jungle now people are saying the same thing about central park or DHA EME SECTOR.

You are right as far as your opinion about HOPE is concerned. I do agree with you and would like to add that its time to think over for country not for himself/herself. What ever the circumstances will be faced by us. I have no soft corner for Bahria but DHA would not waive any fee as well.

With reference to DHA Islamabad Phase 2 extension, i heard that in addition to the sale price of this certificate, buyer will be paying 6 lac rupees as development charges. But some days back, i came to know that DHA has increased the development charges. Do you have some news regarding this increase in development chares???

ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has directed police to lodge an FIR and arrest Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz Hussain, for the murder of a security guard

A three-member bench consisting of Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, Justice Jawwad S Khawaja and Justice Ghulam Rabbani issued the orders while conducting suo moto action on reports of the murder of security guard Fiaz Ahmed, who was killed nearly a year ago.

The Sihala police station house officer told the bench that seven people had been arrested for the guard’s murder, but all had been released on bail. However, some people present at the hearing told the court that Malik Riaz coerced them into selling him their land, alleging that those that refused would be harassed with help from local police. The court was also informed that Malik Tabarik Hussain, who was also accused of Fiaz’s murder, was handed over to Sohrab Goth police in Karachi. The court also ordered the Islamabad district and sessions judge to submit a detailed report by November 26, and directed the Sindh inspector general to present Tabarik Hussain in court today (Tuesday).

Staff Report adds: The court directed a Sihala police official to record the statement of Shamraiza Bibi, Fiaz’s widow, in the courtroom and lodge an FIR against Malik Riaz for the murder of her husband. In her statement, she said that Malik Riaz was responsible for the murder of her husband. During the course of hearing, two citizens - Raja Qayyum and Habibullah - appeared before the bench and maintained that they were victimised by Malik Riaz, who had them beaten up by police because they would not sell Riaz their properties. They alleged that SHO Idrees Rathore and DSP Malik Mumtaz had kept them locked up for three months, forcing them to sell their properties to the Bahria Town chairman.

What's happening to commoners block of DHAI-II Extension? I have plot in D block/sector and when I bought it in 2006 I was told that we'll have possession in one year and now its been almost 3 yrs now. DHA asked for additional charges around 2 lacs despite the fact that it was all paid plot.
