Societies near ring road should be kept for minimum one year for max gains.

Current expectation minimum 30% gains from start or RING ROAD work inshallah.

Central Park is as good a society as any other. If I were you, I would never make the blunder of selling it right here.

I would either wait, or even if sell, go for Orchard. Prism will take years to develop.

Today i was in central park just to vist as i have some investment there.dear construction activity is at its paek.more than 100 houses are under construction.mostly in g block.my personal view is that 10 marla plot will be worth 8 million in two years time which is now almost 5 million.so keep ur investment and save the huge cost of switching.

@6O06 people cannot stop/restrict buying property just because govt has imposed some insane taxes on it. Lots of mega development going on all around lahore. Wishing that prices will crash shows that you don't have any stake in real estate and desparetely want to have something

1. Necessity never made a bad bargain. Buyers are in market but less than before, prices are not going down also. Investors are more afraid from FBR than taxes. If someone can get data, he will find more transactions/queries for less than 4m values plots.

This site is mostly visited by investors who want to see their investments grow. I am one small investor myself. But I agree with your point 100%. Since investors started putting money into real estate in 2003, it has become more and more difficult for middle class salaried Pakistanis to build one home for themselves upon retirement. I would personally like to see that era return where educated people can think of building a home for themselves. But unfortunately, real estate is now a money making business for lots of people including overseas Pakistanis and who can blame them. Such high returns where money is doubled within a year without any effort or insecurity, is too much of a temptation to resist.
However, for those who visit this site, please show some empathy (in theory) for those brethren who cannot afford such high prices real estate. There is nothing wrong if market slows down or prices come down a little !! If anyone suggests this, why does he suddenly becomes an enemy who has nefarious designs against humanity, at least that's the impression left by several comments. I see so many people pumping the market here day and night, which they think serves their investment purpose. So be it. Let others also voice their opinion. Difference of opinion is a sign of healthy society. No one can take your profit (rizq) away from you no matter what comment he leaves here. Please don't kill me over my comments...peace.

Just as food is a necessity as well as a halal business , real eatate is also a necessity as well as a halal business. Without investors there will be no developers and without devwlopers , there will be no housing societies. Dearth of houaing societies will lead to higher rates. So please stop making investment in property a sinful business.

I didn't say that property business is sin or all are doing sin. But any act of price esclation either food or trade is not permitted. It gives benefits to few but harmful for majority. Now same applied in society or residential plots business or no. This is debateable. And what societies & investors are doing for price esclation. We all know.

I found people saying sin sin are more sinners , beard is sunnat every mulla can teach u but what are real sunnah doing good with others,not revenging even u can, speaking truth, taking care of neigbor , informing others , spreading education etc I told truth , allegators can put allegations some may be true yes I m desperate to buy , who is not desperate over here

this is a new fatwa. however , I strongly believe that real estate investment is a totally halal business and the hadith yu quoted is specifically meant for eatables. I am yet to find a credible scholar giving any fatwa against real estate investment. Infact moulana tariq jameel sb himself invests a lot in lands. thereby I strongly dis agree but since yu have doubts , so yu should stop investment in real estate, simple. but i am sorry im not convinced with this nerrative of yurs

All who are advocating that hoarding is bad and engaging people in the debate of halal n haram, they are just not aware of basic economics principles, we are dealing in paper curreny which has no intrinsic value, in olden times there were dinnars/coins which had intrinsic value and there was no concept of devaluation of money. but now there is a big threat of devaluation of paper currency which has extrinsic value so to protect our money agaist devaluation buying property is best solution so that the increae in price of property hedge against devaluation
