Can anybody tell me the time required for the DHA phase 8 development to be completed and how many years it will take to get populated.

As teh development has started now so holding the plot in phase 8 until development completes how much can I gain if the plot in 1K in W block.

or it is wise to sell it now and buy back after some time when the prices of phase 8 will go down from peak.

and how much of the phase 6 is populated and is commercial activity already started in phase 6.

Sorry for non-property topic but it might be helpful and informative for several.

I ordered a few clothing and shoes items over the internet to be delivered to my home in Lahore. The total value of items is Pounds 450.- (Rs.65,000).

Now GPO Lahore are asking for Rs.40,000.- custom duty on these items. I tried a lot to explain and negotiate the amount but failed. They told me that if I do not pay and receive the package, it will be auctioned to public :). I finally paid the amount the received my stuff.

I bought a plot for Rs. 5700,000 in DHA phase 6 in 2007. Its current value is about Rs. 8000,000. Diff is + Rs. 2300,000. Now, let’s look it from another angle, 1 US $ was = Rs.60 in 2007 and now = Rs.92.
Rs. 5700,000 valued in US $ = 95,000 and Rs. 8000,000 = US $ 86956 now. Actually, I have lost US $8044 by investing in property business. Am I right? Request comments from expert members, please.
