Caution:
Somebody advised me to keep away from G-13 becasue of acute water shortage problem, no sui gas and other amenities related problems. Do check these factors before deciding.

Brother I have a 30x60(200sq yds/8 Marlas)plot in G block Soan Gardens, Islamabad. It has a nice location and open at the back with extra land,front is 40feet wide metalled road. This is good and CDA Zone 5 society. It is srounded by Bahria Town, River Gardes, PWD and is directly lying on Islamabad highway. I have a house and my family lives there.There are hundreds of houses built in the society and everything is available, good schools, clinics, markets even a utility store. I myself work in Riyadh my Mobile number is . I am asking for this plot 12 Lacs which is much lower than the market.

Lucky, Brother It is a leveled plot itself. The extra open land at the back is in depression. But if you want to build a half depressed basement its back doors will open in extra land, where you can set up a nice small garden and veg farm for family plus a 3 story house. That is why we bought this plot, later on we found a built up corner plot (just 2/3 plot away in the same row we got it). Therefore it is redundant and if I get the money I spent on the plot I will sell it. My email address is

If I am not mistaken coommoers now proper DHA-2 not extension. Last time when I visited in March 2010 I saw the signs dha-2 bc, dc etc. Please let me know if i am mistaken. You could get plot for 20 lacs :), I have one there and It cost me more then 25 lacs 3 years back. I hope long term it's good investment and goes up.

DHAI, Ex-Commoners Town has sectors i.e., BC, CC, DC & EC. At this moment permission has been granted to construct houses in BC & CC.

Nasheman 2 still have access problem till it have direct approach from College road, Both are almost equal priced, One the other hand down side of IEP is that there are too many big plots, Hence population will be much later than Nasheman 2,
Now ask your self if you need to shift in 5 ys time to your new house and that also 10 Merla then Nasheman 2 is better, On the Other hand if you are Looking for investment and like to hold for Min 10 years then IEP can be good.
For smaller plots price appreciation will be faster in Nasheman 2, Both are reliable and and developed societies, Both Dont have suigas yet [best of my Knowledge]

Oh i am sorry for not getting in detail....There has been investigation against Malik riaz and DHA for grabbing innocent people's land and then getting wrong FIR against them ..Supreme court had ordered investigation .Now report has been submitted in the supreme court claiming that Malik Riaz has been involved in wrong doings .....There is program ON Dawn TV in which Malik RIAZ has promsed to come live today at 10:10 pm tonight to clear his stance ...I think the way he violated the contract with people in block c and phase 8 9 in pindi should also in investigated how he changed the price and and location of plots illegally .

Atleast one Pakistani that is Malik Riaz has delivered fantastic housing schemes in Paksitan and has set standards for others to follow. If you pay a little attention around yourself, you will always hear something bad about Malik Riaz, the reason is that other corrupt giants in Real estate in Pakistan are jeolous of him and his rise to success. Have you ever seen a society like Bahria town in Pakistan ? be honest to yourself, Where were all these developers before Malik Riaz , what did they produce, They produced nothing but imcomplete and undeveloped societies.
The bottom line is that Baria Town is the most beautiful society in Pakistan no one even come close when it comes to the road infrastructure or security or cleaniliness in Bahria town.
Long live Riaz Malik and his management team. May Allah(swt) give more deligent people like Riaz Malik to Pakistan.

Kindly tell me how will you explain why bahria town booked a plot at price 8 lacs in phase 8 and why they increased the final price to 16 lacs .

Why allottee has to pay all installments in time but bahria is not bound to give plots in time and if you ask for refund they deduct 20 % why and they return money after one year ..
What happened to bahria town cards where is that money ..its shameful to protect such guy ...
Why plots in phase 9 were booked when bahria did not even had possession of that land.... Why sector c original map was released without possession of land ....
He is not giving plots for free he is charging good amount for it ,,,,he is not denoting plots he is charging each and every penny from poor owners who are stuck there....
Where are the those famous towers which were going to be completed by this time in phase 8 .....

Well he has big media team behind him...he is just an actor and has learned ways of politician he kept on saying that i am labrour ( woow i also want to be such a labror who has most expensive collection of cars in is house...He keeps on telling stories of how poor he was and how he has seen sufferings etc but when some one asks for refund then he forgets how hard it is to earn money for average Pakistani....He has even started buying people in DHA by offerring them jobs in Bahira town after their retirements from DHA and this is why DHA islamabad is failing to deliver cause malik sahib is buying all workers of DHA........

Thanks for your advice. I have gone through the above site and noted that their products are good. I think their Dynamic Cash Fund seems good option, however, it looks that they are not giving profit on monthly bases ( may be quarterly ). Anyhow, if you can recommend any of their best fund, please do and I will then discuss with their concerned office. My main purpose to invest this amount is to get some monthly profit + capital gain, instead to put money in any bank for some years and less value at the end. I would appreciate if you can give provide further details to go for investment.

I would suggest you to open a dollar/euro account in pakistan and keep ur money in dollar or euro form. This way you money will be safe and will not devalue.
If you are looking for mutual fund sector, then all stock funds are very risky , you can earn good money and u can loose everything. However if you will invest in any income/money market fund it will give u returns like 10-11% (interest- Not halal). In private sector, JSTL (Jahangir Sadiqquie Investment limited) is Pakistan's biggest fund management company , you can visit their site to know about their funds OR NAFA (National Fullerton Asset Management Company) is also a big one owned by Tamasek holding singapore and National Bank of pakistan, again u can visit their web site nafafunds.com to know more.
