Is anyone have some information about the number of houses built in Judicial Town Murree housing Scheme. What is the average construction cost in that area and how far it is from main road of Murree.
Rashid replied on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 12:39 PM PST

I visited the sight in 2010 and the number of houses builts were around 60 - 70. For your convenience pl note tel of the society.
jk replied on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 08:14 PM PST

Dear FM
I have only half of the informations you have asked. Infect I have not visited Judicial Town lately But can tell you it is about half the way from Islamabad to Murree, opposite to the famous Chather Garden and One kilo meter from the main Murree road. It is not thickly populated but around few families living in this society. Some good houses are constructed and well renowned lawyer Naeem Bukhari owns one of them. Good for retirement life or if you can afford guards and number of dogs for security. Far off from daily amenities

Dear Haris,
PHA Apartments (Shabbir Town) on Raiwind Road Lahore may be a good option.
B-Type apartments price would be in between Rs.22 Lac to Rs.30 Lac depending upon the floor.
The location is close to Thokar Niaz Baig.

To buy/sell land whose actual location has yet to be determined by ballot??
dxb replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 07:28 PM PST

Good question but I am wondering some people may start asking if winds coming from the West are halal or haram. One family in England threw away their sofa set as they were not sure whether the leather came from a slaughtered baffalo or not. Why to ride a horse when its meat is haram...
Morad replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 08:33 PM PST

Now a days it has become very difficult to distinguish between halal and haram. plz tell me if i buy plot in DHA 6 will I be given plot or file because during couple of months I am planning to visit LRE or any other reliable dealer.

@ Mullah jeeeee

As far as DHA is concerned, selling/buying of files is halal as each file is backed by 4 kanal land.

@ DXB Sahib

For your information , meat of horse is halal. You can confirm it from Ulma.
Worried man replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 10:04 PM PST

Mian_Naeem_Aslam replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 11:13 PM PST

Do Piaza bhai, you should ask this question from a learned Islamic scholar. I am saying this because i think CMY and Co. have their expertise in Property buying and selling not in Islamic matters but i may be wrong and CMY may have gotten his Aalim degree from a madrissa.... you never know ;)...... anyways that was just on a light side....

as for as i know there is no harm in buying such plots but there is difference of opinion among scholars in selling a plot without knowing the location of it.
Khan replied on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 12:07 AM PST

Dear Worried Man,

Please read the Hadiths given below and decide yourself (open the books of Hadiths Bukhaari and Muslim, look these Hadiths yourself in these books before giving any remarks):

It was narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abd-Allaah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that he said: On the day of Khaybar, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) forbade eating the flesh of domestic donkeys, but he granted a concession with regard to horses. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3982; Muslim, 1941.

It was narrated that Asma’ bint Abi Bakr (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: At the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) we slaughtered a horse and ate it. Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 5191; Muslim, 1942.

It was narrated that Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: We traveled with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and we used to eat the flesh of horses and drink their milk. Narrated by al-Daaraqutni and al-Bayhaqi. Al-Nawawi said: with a saheeh isnaad.
Khan replied on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 12:19 AM PST

(LRE Note: This 'Khan' is different from the 'Khan' in the post just above.)

Let us stop doing what we know for sure is haraam: to tell lies, to weigh less; and to honestly do our job (whatever it is), to not forcefully deny any body his right, not steal any thing which is not our (including government's or our company's) and to not indulge in wasteful expenses.

If we just do that every thing else will fall in its proper place. You will not have to worry about files, horses or donkeys.
Observer replied on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 12:50 PM PST

@ Khan

Your last post above (short and precise), is by far the best post on LRE forum's 7+ years history. It points to, and describes the Siraat-al-Mustaqeem (straight and clear) in just a few lines, that, if one has the will and guts to follow. That is Asl: The Real Thing, but we have become too accustomed to the Faroa'at: the worthless complications. You deserve a salute for this great (& apprarently simple) post

Dear kahn Sahib,
The upper part of P Block is Developed but lower one is only on map, the development is not started in portion of P Block Due to pockets and it is expected it will take one year from now on for complete development of P Block. Some of pockets are cleared by DHA but other exists.Current market value of P 255 is around 60 Lacs.

Phase 6 MB commercial
Dear salman n readers
I don't understand on phase 6 MB there is a 5 km long commercial avenue while on phase 8 side there are houses all along.. Would this arrangement work? Ideally commercial should be on both sides... I beleive map change is inescapable here. Your views. Secondly how do u grade parkview developmentvuz a viz Dha . Would itbe a wise decsion to shift my 9 million plot to parkview preferably2 kanls by adding some money and construct a house. Please give your expertcomnents

Ali Abbas replied on Sunday, April 15, 2012 06:26 PM PST

in MB 6 BOTH SIDES HAVE DISTANCE OF MORE THAN 250 TO 300 FEET SO ITS SEEM NOT APPROPRIATE TO BUILD ON BOTH SIDE
Hassan replied on Sunday, April 15, 2012 11:01 PM PST

You will never get correct comments regarding Parkview here. Park View is only best part of DHA. Go as your heart and mind say.
jk replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 12:05 AM PST

Dear Hassan Park View is a adopted baby of DHA and how one can expect to have same treatment of DHA. PV is carrying many lacking deficit on his own and there should be no blame on DHA. Trust me if DHA would have not taken it over PV whould have been standing with completely failure societies of the area.
Rashid replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 03:50 PM PST

The Park view Phase 8 is excellent location not only based on locality but also majority of infrastructure has accomplished by the DHA. the future prospectus of Park view Phase 8 are very bright. neither location in phase 6,7 8 would be appreciated comparable to Park View in couple of year. jk assessment seems bit narrow.
jk replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 05:20 PM PST

Rashid Bhai it is not matter of narrow assessment It needs a calibre to understand. DHA did not bought PV to groom but to keep it out so that they can permote their own phases.

Defence House Society is and will remain No-1 society in Lahore.
Hassan replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 05:37 PM PST

JK sahib, Read my words."Park View is only best part of DHA''. Location wise and infrastructure wise Park View is the Best.Park View does not need grooming by DHA like some people become groomed by DHA. It already came into existence beautifully. No phase of DHA can ParkView Location wise.
Hassan replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 05:56 PM PST

----No phase of DHA can beat ParkView Location wise.
jk replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 07:25 PM PST

No doubt Location has a vital role in real estate but just location is not enough otherwise Model Town Gulberg Zaman Park and Cavalry Ground Alama Iqbal Town Johar Town would have better location then any one else But

It is DHA holding number one position and margin will get even bigger as the time will pass.
Lahore Real Est replied on Monday, April 16, 2012 10:55 PM PST

No Doubt ParkView has prime location but it will be alway surrounded by Villages and has many pockets. The view near main blvd is good but but if you have to move two streets away from main its looks very ugly.DHA still unable to clear the pockets in Park View and in a result reallocate all litigated plots in DHA Phase 7 and nobody know when theses pockets will be cleared in future. You can still get 2 kanal plot in park view around 115 lacs but not ideal for house construction and prime location is around 175 to 185 lacs but on the other hand DHA Phase 6 2 kanal possessin plot is from 200 to 250 lacs depending on location.

Everyone knows why DHA engaged Park view vicinity. definitively they had no option to opt PV for excellent approach ; Just imagine berki road to access Phase 7/6 from the heart of Lahore Mall road. Sir the PV main road will be underway very soon terminating @ phase7. ”founders” are acquiring massive land neighboring road.

One can envision and weigh worth of opening end with Indian adjacency
