LDA has warned to lower ramps in residential areas also. Ramp is not
causing any encroachment on the service road. Houses were built 10
years ago. If I lower the
ramp, it will not remain in line with the height of the house. House
was built
somewhat at upper level to avoid rainy water entering the house. When
this question
was put to LDA, they did not have any answer to it. Ramp is located on
the space
adjacent to service road left for electric poles etc. It is not
pedestrian walkway.
I believe it is an implementation fault by LDA. By lowering it, how I
will be able to
get my car in and out of my car porch. Any ideas on it ?

Everyone has a right to choose their political party or like minded party. This is a beauty of democracy. The thing I really don’t like it is Personality Worship. Nobody is perfect in the world otherwise we will call them angels not human being. I would suggest discussing or criticizing their actions not personality. This is written on the wall that Zardardi was corrupt person but as a President I will have to praise his reconciliation policies. If you look at Imran Khan, he was a playboy again written on the wall but on the other hand, he is an honest and a blunt politician in Pakistan’s history and we should give him full credit for that.

To be honest I don’t have any affiliation with any political party and my voting record is pretty much lota type.

Dear Readers,
Thanks for stopping by and giving your time to read it. I just need a simple help form all of you whoever has the right answer .....
My problem is that I invested some money in Defence saving certificates in Jan. 2002 and because of some reasons i want to encash them now. But when i went to national saving center for encashment they are insisting to deduct 10% with holding tax. because certificates are more then 150000. i argued them that these certificates are joint accounts. so i am not liable for with holding tax. But they don't agree saying even it is joint account still we consider it one account and limit is only 150000 w.e.f Jan 2001. I know before that there was no limit and later it was changed to 150000 but gradually.

COULD ANYONE TELL ME THE RIGHT WEBSITE WHERE I CAN FIND THE LIMITS OF INVESTMENT DATE WISE.
The reason why i am asking, i want to fight with the saving center for my right provided i have the proof.
Help me pls.

I have had the chance to live in many countries at times when Pakistanis were respected very well and those when they were treated as 'shady' characters. Seeing the posts about Pakistan thse days reminds me of asituation. In later days when the Pakistanis were Pakees,someone commented that green passport was a worthless document. My immediate response was ask any Plastinian and he can tell you that he would bet any thing to get this passport. Let do the self criticism which is good but not self condmnation.

We alone our selves, the idividuals are responsible for what we are. True the leaders are worst may be more than worst. But instead of doing lip service do something constructive, even it is very small.
